Terms of Service

The rules for using InfluencersBridge as a business or a creator. Please read them carefully before you create an account.

1.About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and InfluencersBridge. They apply whenever you use the InfluencersBridge website or app. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use InfluencersBridge.

2.Who can use InfluencersBridge

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be a business, or a creator with a genuine, active social media account, based in a country we support: currently Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa.
  • If you sign up for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to act on its behalf.
  • You may only have one account of each type, and you must not use someone else’s account.

3.Your account

Keep your account details accurate and up to date, and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, change your password and contact us straight away.

4.How the marketplace works

InfluencersBridge helps businesses find and book creators. Businesses can book a creator directly from their rate card, or post a campaign that creators apply to. When a booking is accepted, a service agreement covering the scope, price and deadline is created between the business and the creator.

InfluencersBridge provides the platform, holds payments in escrow and helps with disputes. We are not a party to the service agreement, and we don’t employ creators or act as an agency for either side.

5.Payments, escrow and fees

  • When a booking is confirmed, the business pays the full amount into escrow through our payment partners, Paystack and Flutterwave.
  • The money is held by InfluencersBridge until the business approves the content, or until the review window shown on the booking ends without a request for changes or a dispute.
  • Once released, the payment moves into the creator’s wallet and can be withdrawn to a bank account or mobile money wallet.
  • Creating an account and browsing are free. A service fee is applied to each completed booking and is shown before you pay or accept. There are no subscriptions or monthly minimums.
  • Prices are shown in the local currency: Nigerian naira, Ghanaian cedi, Kenyan shilling or South African rand.

6.Keep payments on the platform

All payments for work found on InfluencersBridge must go through InfluencersBridge. Asking for, offering or accepting payment outside the platform is not allowed. Money paid outside InfluencersBridge is not protected by escrow, and accounts that do this may be suspended.

7.Delivery, revisions and approval

Creators must deliver the agreed content by the agreed deadline. Businesses should review submitted content within the review window and either approve it or request changes, explaining what doesn’t match the brief. The number of revisions included is set by the creator’s package or the campaign agreement.

8.Disputes and refunds

If you can’t agree after requesting changes, either side can open a dispute from the booking. While a dispute is open, the payment stays frozen in escrow. Both sides can upload evidence, and our team reviews the brief, the chat history and the content.

Depending on the case, we may release the full payment to the creator, refund the business in full, or split the payment between both. Refunds are returned through the platform. Our decision on a dispute is final for the payment held in escrow, but it doesn’t affect any other legal rights you have.

9.Content and usage rights

Creators keep ownership of the content they create. Once a booking is paid and released, the business may use the content in the ways and for the period agreed in the booking. Anything beyond that, such as paid advertising or longer usage, must be agreed with the creator.

By posting on InfluencersBridge, you give us permission to display your profile and content on the platform so it can work. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload.

10.Your responsibilities

Creators must keep their stats genuine, deliver original work, and clearly label sponsored content as advertising where the law or platform rules require it.

Businesses must give clear, honest briefs, pay through the platform, and make sure their products and claims are legal and accurate.

11.What’s not allowed

  • Buying fake followers, likes or engagement, or misrepresenting your stats.
  • Fraud, scams, or attempts to take payments off the platform.
  • Harassment, hate speech, or sharing other people’s personal information.
  • Promoting illegal products or services, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Creating fake accounts or fake reviews.
  • Interfering with the platform, scraping data, or trying to get around our security.

12.Verification and reviews

A verified badge means a creator has linked their social accounts and passed our checks, so their stats come from the platforms. It isn’t a guarantee of results. Reviews must be honest and based on a real booking.

13.Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time from your settings, once any active bookings and disputes are finished. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put other users at risk or are involved in fraud. Where we can, we’ll tell you why.

14.Our liability

We work hard to keep InfluencersBridge safe and available, but we provide the platform “as is”. We are not responsible for the content creators produce, the results of a campaign, or the actions of other users. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

15.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a disagreement with us can’t be settled informally, it will be handled by the courts of Nigeria, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

16.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using InfluencersBridge after that, you accept the new Terms.

17.Contact us

If you have a question about these Terms, email support@influencersbridge.com or send us a message through our contact page.
